Parents of UCL first-year Mathematics students

UCL ranks 9th globally.
Its first-year Mathematics
proves why.

UCL’s first-year Mathematics modules are non-condonable — fail one twice and your student cannot continue their degree. UMM gives your student PhD-led workshops mapped precisely to their UCL modules, 18-hour-a-day support and full session recordings.

What UMM delivers

PhD-led. Live.
UCL-specific.

UCL module mapping
Every workshop is built around UCL’s published first-year Mathematics modules. Eight non-condonable modules — our workshops address each one precisely.
Live PhD-led workshops
Four 60-minute sessions per month per module, led by PhD graduates and doctoral candidates. Live, interactive, past-paper mapped.
Full session recordings
Every session recorded and available immediately. Your student can rewatch as many times as needed before their exams.
18-hour-a-day moderation
Post questions to the module forum at any time. PhD moderators respond within active hours. Overnight questions answered the following morning.

Common questions

What parents
ask us most.

Is UMM affiliated with UCL?
No. UMM is an independent academic support service. All module references are based on publicly available UCL course information. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by University College London.
When do UCL workshops start?
Workshops are launching Summer Term 2026. Register your student’s interest now and we will confirm their free trial as soon as their module opens.
What does non-condonable mean?
It means that if your student fails one of UCL’s eight first-year Mathematics modules twice, they cannot continue their degree. UMM workshops are designed to prevent that outcome.
Can we cancel if it is not working?
Yes, at any time. No lock-in beyond the current billing month. The UK Consumer Rights Act 2015 14-day cooling-off right applies from the date of first payment.
